Waterfront Drive will close at Higgins Avenue beginning Monday, April 4. (WINNIPEG.CA)
Ongoing construction of the new Disraeli Bridges will close vehicle access between Waterfront Drive and Higgins Avenue on Monday.
There will be no left turn permitted from Gomez Street onto Higgins Avenue during this time.
The traffic signal at Higgins Avenue and Waterfront Drive will be removed during this period. Pedestrians are encouraged to use Maple Street or Annabella Street for signalized pedestrian crossing of Higgins Avenue.
The city says the closure will be in effect until late fall 2011.
