April 12, 2011 11:20 AM | News

A 35-year-old man was killed after a single-vehicle rollover on Sunday evening.

RCMP say the man’s 1993 Pontiac Grand Am was travelling on Belluk Road in the RM of Lac du Bonnet when it left the road and rolled at least once. The vehicle came to a rest upside down in a water-filled ditch.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene after paramedics responded at about 8:30 p.m.

Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash.

No name has been released.

Police are reminding motorists to use extra caution when driving around flooded roads and ditches.
