The Winnipeg Goldeyes have added two more names to their roster just weeks before training camp is about to begin.
Manager Rick Forney announced Wednesday the signing of right-handed pitcher Erick Carrillo and outfielder Kody Kaiser.
Carrillo, 24, spent the last two seasons in the Florida Marlins system, going 6-7 with a 4.36 ERA in 32 games, including 15 starts.
Kaiser, 26, has been in the Detroit Tigers organization since he started his professional career four seasons ago. Kaiser batted .247 with four home runs and 20 RBI in 47 games with Double-A Erie in the Eastern League and hit .325 with five home runs and 40 RBI in 63 games with Advanced-A Lakeland in the Florida State League.
Training camp opens Saturday, April 30 at Shaw Park.
