One of the most popular spots in the city during this year’s spring break was the Manitoba Museum.
Officials say more than 14,000 people made their way through the doors during a 10-day period. The average attendance during the same period annually is between 8,000-10,000 people.
The high attendance rate is not only a positive reflection on the museum, but for downtown in general.
The Exchange District BIZ noted the visits reinforce the area has a lot to offer.
In the fall, the museum will welcome the Circus! Science Under the Big Top exhibit, which is expected to attract a large crowd for next year’s spring break.
