The Winnipeg Goldeyes signed veteran right-handed pitcher Dustin Glant on Monday.
The 29-year-old spent the last two seasons with the Schaumburg Flyers, where last year he posted a 10-6 record and 3.52 ERA with the Flyers over 21 starts and 133 innings pitched. He also had three complete games and two shutouts.
A native of Marathon, Florida, Glant was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 7th round (216th) overall) in the 2003 MLB amateur draft.
Training camp opens Saturday, April 30 at Shaw Park.
