Highway 75, the main artery between Winnipeg and the U.S. border, will close at 2 p.m. today at Morris due to rising flood waters.
The highway has been monitored on an hourly basis the last several days as crews began work to close the ring dike around Morris.
During the 2009 flood, Highway 75 was closed for 35 days.
Alternate routes (PDF, 115 KB) have been outlined by the province.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution around flood waters.
