On your way to work this morning, try to make an effort to stop and pick up a few cupcakes.
The SMD Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba has teamed up with the Cupcake Corner to sell cupcakes between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the Organza parking lot (Confusion Corner).
Half of the proceeds will support programs that reach more than 40,000 Manitobans with disabilities annually.
A box of a dozen cupcakes will be available for $15.
Each person that purchases a dozen will also receive a cup of Starbucks coffee and a copy of the Winnipeg Free Press.
