A truck hauling farm equipment was unaware of the height of its load Thursday when it struck an overpass going west on the Perimeter Highway.
The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. near Fermor Avenue.
RCMP shut down one westbound lane of Highway 1 while crews examined the overpass for any structural damage.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
