Formal Wear Sale Planned to Benefit Dog Adoptions

April 27, 2011 7:01 AM | News

It’s an unusual setting for a clothing sale, but the city’s Animal Services Agency will host the first annual “Mutts Love Glitter” evening wear sale on Saturday, April 30.

Formal attire from evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and men’s suits and ties will be available, with all proceeds going to benefit the dog adoption program at the agency.

Handbags, purses, vintage items and a large selection of jewelry will also be available.

The sale runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1057 Logan Avenue.

To donate any formal wear, accessories, dress shoes or jewelry for the fundraiser, drop off your items at the Animal Services Agency between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
