Manitoba firefighters are being invited to submit their best recipes to the 5 Alarm Firefighters Cook Off contest by May 4.
Last week, a group of Winnipeg firefighters served up a preview meal at the Ellen Street fire hall.
The public will get a chance to vote on the culinary creations beginning May 9 to narrow down the choices. A panel of celebrity judges will then crown the winner on June 18.
Proceeds from the cook off are going to support the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
