Garage sale season may be a few weeks away, but the University of Manitoba has plenty to unload already.
Taché Hall on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus is going out of business, and everything inside needs to be cleared out.
Pool tables, fridges, stoves, beds, dressers, chairs and desks all need to go.
The historic building will begin the transformation into a new home for the Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music and the School of Art beginning May. An open house will be held on May 6 and 7 to celebrate its history.
The fire sale will begin Friday at 10 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. On Saturday, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All sales are final and only cash will be accepted.
