About 2,000 football fans will fill the stands at Canad Inns Stadium on Saturday, May 14, but it won’t be for a game.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are holding the first annual “Fans in the Stands Casting Call” as part of the team’s 2011 marketing campaign involving in-game commercials, online content and all future promotional material.
Fans are asked to wear their best, original Blue and Gold attire to show off their true Blue Bomber colours.
Fans of all ages are welcome to attend, including families. Along with group shots, the Blue Bombers will be on the hunt for individual stories to showcase the memories and tradition of the Football Club.
Registration begins at 2 p.m., with the shoot running from 4 p.m. until around 6 p.m. Fans can enter through the Bomber Store.
