Cultural Arts Ambassador John K. Samson will give a talk and performance at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Thursday, May 12.
Samson was chosen along with four other arts ambassadors as part of the Cultural Capital of Canada 2010 to create legacy projects. He will present excerpts from his project.
Samson’s legacy project was the creation of The Correction Line Ensemble, a chamber music ensemble involving six musicians from diverse backgrounds, weaving together an engaging and seamless conversation between classical and modern music.
Admission to the event is free with general WAG admission and begins at 7:30 p.m.
