A 39-year-old cyclist was struck from behind by a vehicle in East Selkirk on Wednesday, which then fled the scene.
RCMP say the incident happened at about 2:55 p.m. on Old Henderson Highway in the RM of St. Clements.
The cyclist was travelling southbound at the time, and landed on the embankment of Cooks Creek after being hit.
The vehicle involved is described as a black half-ton pickup truck.
The cyclist was taken to Selkirk Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries to the head. A helmet likely prevented further injury in the collision.
