The launch for the second annual Culture Days weekend will take place today, offering up a preview of what to expect this year from local arts community leaders and performers.
Talent from Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island will be part of this year’s celebrations.
The inaugural Culture Days spanned three days in September 2010 and was a way to promote arts and culture in cities and towns from coast to coast.
This year’s event will run September 30, October 1 and 2 simultaneously across Canada.
The launch is set to take place at Art Space, 100 Arthur Street, at 11 a.m.
