The Manitoba Eco-Network will kick off green lawn care season with a free screening of “A Chemical Reaction.”
The organization has teamed up with the Winnipeg Public Library to jointly screen Paul Tukey’s award-winning film on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The screening will take place in the Carol Shields Auditorium at the Millennium Library, 251 Donald Street.
Before the screening, a short Manitoba film, “Cosmetic Pesticides: Worth the Risk?,” will be shown.
A series of workshops offered by the Manitoba Eco-Network on organic lawn care, as well as reel mower sharpening clinics, will run throughout May and June.
Workshops are free and registration is now open. To register, call 947-6511 or visit MBEcoNetwork.org.
