Headliners for Kidsfest 2011 will be announced this morning during a launch event at The Forks.
Manitoba singer Fred Penner will be on hand as the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival unveils who will perform this year.
Children, staff and alumni from the River East French Exposure Nursery School and Happiness Is Daycare will join Penner for the announcement at 10:30 a.m. in Centre Court.
The annual extravaganza of fun and imagination will take over the banks of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers from June 9 to 12, 2011.
Tickets are now available at Winnipeg Safeway and Assiniboine Credit Union locations. Advanced general public tickets are $12 each or $40 for a family pack of four. Gate prices are $14 each or $48 for a family pack of four. Children under two are free.
