The Curator of the Art Collection of Power Corporation of Canada will be speaking at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Thursday, May 19.
Paul Maréchal will speak on Building Corporate Art Collections: The Inside Track beginning at 7 p.m.
Maréchal’s association with Power Corporation of Canada goes back to 1990 as curator, conservator, and developer of both the corporate collection and the private collection of the family of Paul Demarais Sr.
The Corporation has since acquired works by celebrated Canadian artists to showcase in museums across the country.
Admission to both the talk and the opening is free.
