The Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is on June 3 at Shaw Park and teams are working hard to fundraise as much money as possible for the cause.
One of those teams in Power 97’s “Almost Famous” troupe, who is currently in first place for raising the most money in Winnipeg.
The team will host a Mad Hatter Party at Earls St. Vital tonight to fundraise further toward their goal.
Prizes will be up for grabs, with a DJ spinning tunes all night, a photo booth and a 50/50 draw. Tickets are $10 at the door and all proceeds will support the Canadian Cancer Society.
The fundraiser begins at 8 p.m.
