A three-year-old boy was killed Wednesday night after being hit by a vehicle on the Peguis First Nation.
RCMP say the incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. and the vehicle did not remain at the scene.
The child was pronounced deceased at the local hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate.
