Visitors to Assiniboine Park and the Assiniboine Park Zoo will appreciate extended operating hours this summer.
The Assiniboine Park Conservancy has implemented longer hours beginning today.
“People love the Park and with all the improvements being made to both the Park and Zoo we want to give people as much time as possible to enjoy them,” said Margaret Redmond, president and CEO of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy. “The hours in the past have been somewhat limited and a bit confusing with different hours for different venues — we wanted to make it as simple and inclusive as we can to make it a great experience for our visitors.”
The Assiniboine Park Zoo and Assiniboine Park Conservatory will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The new Nature Playground will operate from 8 a.m. to dusk, while the Pavilion Gallery Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., including Mondays and statutory holidays.
