Free Public Forum to Be Held on Bacteria and Antibiotics

A group of experts will discuss research on bacteria and antibiotics at a free public forum on Tuesday put on by the University of Manitoba.

Sergio Fanella, assistant professor in the U of M’s Faculty of Medicine, Brian Mark, associate professor in the U of M’s department of microbiology and the department of biochemistry and medical genetics, and Michael Mulvey of the National Microbiology Laboratory will discuss the topic and field questions.

“Antibiotics: How the Bugs are Fighting Back” will begin at 7 p.m. at McNally Robinson Booksellers inside Grant Park Shopping Centre.
