Dancers perform traditional and contemporary music and dance demonstrations during the Asian Canadian Festival at The Forks over the weekend. The celebrations are part of Asian Heritage Month, where Asian culture is being celebrated at venues across the city. A drumming festival, martial arts and tai chi routine were also part of the festivities. Performers from the Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Filipino communities all participated.
