You don’t have to wait until next year’s Festival du Voyageur to tour Fort Gibraltar.

The St. Boniface cultural destination is now open until September 4, offering a bilingual summer interpretive program.

Manitoba’s history, tradition and culture will also be showcased during Doors Open Winnipeg. The public will be invited to visit over 70 historic buildings in the city, with the Fort opening its doors for the first time as part of the event.

For the occasion, admission will be free of charge on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
