Fire Destroys Home on Furby Street

Eight people got out safely from a home in the 500 block of Furby Street Thursday morning after it erupted in flames.

The blaze broke out just before 4 a.m. on the rear porch of the residence.

Three people were rescued by firefighters from the top floor of the home.

Damage is pegged at $200,000.

The Arson Strike Force is investigating.
