Fans of U2 waited outside in the rain for hours in downtown Winnipeg Friday for a glimpse of the rockers — and it paid off.

Bono and the rest of the group arrived shortly before 7 p.m. to the Burton Cummings Theatre, where they’re shooting part of a documentary before playing Canad Inns Stadium on Sunday.

The band took time to speak with fans, sign autographs and answer questions from reporters before making their way inside. Those at the Burt said the guys were gracious and very accommodating.

ChrisD.ca will have a camera at the 360º Tour on Sunday and will bring you photos from the show.
