A Video Game Fair will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, exploring the impact and influence of video game culture on the lives, careers, and artistic endeavours of the performers.
Programmed by local media artist mrghosty (Skot Deeming), the event features interactive installations, indie game demos, software demonstrations, hands-on workshops, short artist talks, documentary film previews, game themed crafts and publications, live music, and more.
Re:Play — Game Culture and Technology Art Fair will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is by donation, with $2 suggested for an individual and $5 for a family.
Participants include New Media Manitoba, Strata Studios, Infinite Ammo Games, Glacier Games, and others.
