A two-vehicle collision Thursday morning near Steinbach has killed one person.
RCMP say the crash happened at about 7:45 a.m. at the junction of Highway 311 and Road 35E in the RM of Hanover. A vehicle travelling southbound on Road 35E was struck by a vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 311.
The passenger of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female driver of the same vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The female driver of the eastbound vehicle is listed in guarded condition in hospital.
All three people involved in the crash are from the Steinbach area.
Police are continuing to investigate and haven’t released the same of the deceased.
