Teen retailer Aéropostale is set to open at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre by the fall.
The U.S.-based retailer will fill the 3,900-square foot store to join a number of other fashion-forward retailers that have recently opened at the Transcona mall.
Construction of the store will begin in the coming weeks, with the mall also announcing a new retailer later this month.
On Saturday, a flash mob-style group danced throughout the mall to promote the new retailer.
Besides Aéropostale, Swedish retailer H&M is rumoured to be setting up shop in Winnipeg sometime soon.
