A collision between a pickup truck and a semi-trailer truck has killed a Thompson man.
RCMP say at about 12:15 p.m. on Monday, a 1999 Chevrolet pickup crossed the centre line on Highway 6 and collided with the southbound semi.
The crash happened about 15 kilometres south of Thompson.
The 68-year-old driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the semi was taken to Thompson General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Neither vehicle was carrying any passengers and road conditions at the time were reported to be good. Alcohol is not a factor.
No names will be released.
