The chairman of True North Sports and Entertainment will address business leaders from the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.
Mark Chipman, an instrumental part in bringing back the NHL to the city, will speak during a membership luncheon at The Fairmont Winnipeg.
“The return of the National Hockey League to Winnipeg is without question one of the most exciting things to happen to this community in the past decade,” said Chamber president Dave Angus. “Mark Chipman’s determination and professional manner in which he accomplished this tremendous goal is a testament to his commitment to this City. We are extremely excited to have him address the local business community to talk about the return of the NHL.”
Chipman will speak at 12:40 p.m., following the noon lunch.
