The Winnipeg Fringe Festival unveiled its plans for this year’s 12-day event on Wednesday.
The theme this year is “Big Top Fringe: The Greatest Shows on Earth,” and will include a master juggler, an aerial and acrobatic troupe, circus performers and a high-flying extravaganza.
More than 150 performing companies will travel to Winnipeg for the 25-venue three-ring circus, which will again extend on to Albert and Arthur Streets.
The 24th annual Fringe Festival, happening July 13-24, will also include merry-go-round shows at the MTS Outdoor Stage.
Advance tickets are now on sale at the MTC Box Office by calling (204) 942-6537 and at WinnipegFringe.com. Tickets will go on sale Friday at Liquor Marts, Safeway stores and McNally Robinson Booksellers.
