Jóhann Páll Valdimarsson (HANDOUT)
An exhibit of photographs of famed Icelandic artist Jóhann Páll Valdimarsson will be on display at the New Iceland Heritage Museum in Gimli, Manitoba beginning Saturday.
The exhibit is part of the 60th anniversary celebrations for the Department of Icelandic Language and Literature at the University of Manitoba.
The photos will be on display daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until September 5.
Valdimarsson, the publisher of many of the foremost authors of world literature, will be on hand Saturday to open the exhibit at 4 p.m.
