Children’s art is known to be showcased at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s annual show, but this time it’s the works of art created by adults that will be in the spotlight.
Artwork as part of the WAG’s Studio Programs will be highlighted on Thursday, July 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a public reception for the opening of the Adult Students’ Art Show.
The exhibition will be on display Tuesday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. until July 28.
“Our adult students’ exhibition includes fine examples of drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and so much more,” said Michael Boss, head of Studio Programs. “The skill and enthusiasm demonstrated by these artists is a tribute to their dedication and to the high quality of instruction that takes place in our studios. We are very proud of our students and are pleased to present this work to the public.”
Registration for August summer sessions for both children and adults is now open by calling (204) 789-1766 or visiting WAG.ca.
