National Aboriginal Day was celebrated on Saturday at The Forks, as thousands of people gathered under balmy temperatures to see the biggest names in Aboriginal entertainment perform.
Ray St. Germain highlighted Saturday night’s concert, which was broadcast live on APTN. Other acts included the always popular Winnipeg’s Most, Andrea Menard, and Red Power Squad.
Besides the musical performances, there was dancing, storytelling and the Aboriginal market.
