Free Public Forum Held on ‘Greening’ Winnipeg

The University of Winnipeg will hold a free public forum one week from today on how Winnipeg can become a greener city.

“Greening Our City” will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 27 at 599 Portage Avenue in conjunction with the grand opening of the U of W’s Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex.

Several panelists will take part, and audience discussion is encouraged. Jino Distasio, the U of W’s director of the Institute of Urban Studies will also be providing comments.

Following the forum, people can take a tour of the new Environment and Science complex from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
