Students form across Canada and the United States will gather at the University of Manitoba to study movement, yoga, singing, and staging as part of a three-week training course.
The new opera course at the Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music will celebrate its 10th anniversary this summer.
The three-work program will begin Friday, July 8 with a performance at 8 p.m. in the Canwest Centre for Theatre and Film located at 400 Colony Street. Tickets are available at the door and are $15 for adults/$10 for students.
Three new works from up and coming Canadian composers Luke Nickel, Michael Park, and David Betz will be featured.
