A legally blind Winnipeg photographer has been shortlisted as a finalist in CNIB’s Eye Remember national photography competition.
Tara Miller has less than 10 percent vision and has previously won Best in Show and Best Colour print for her photo of lightning over a sunflower field at sunset at the 2011 Red River Exhibition Photography Salon.
“Because I don’t look legally blind some people have laughed at me when I tell them what I do or assume my husband Jeff does all the work,” Miller said. Tara’s husband is also a commercial photographer.
The public can vote for Tara until June 30, 2011 at EyeRemember.ca. Votes are limited to one per person.
