Goldeyes Offer Flood Victims Free Game Tickets

The Winnipeg Goldeyes will be providing up to four complimentary tickets to anyone affected by the spring/summer flooding in Manitoba.

The baseball club has teamed up with Peak of the Market for the initiative, which will offer tickets in the On Deck or Grand Slam sections of Shaw Park during the Goldeyes’ home stand against the St. Paul Saints July 2 to 5.

“It’s been a frustrating and tough spring for a lot of people in Manitoba,” Goldeyes GM Andrew Collier said. “The Goldeyes recognize the many challenges faced by the victims of the flooding and hopefully we can bring some joy to them, if only for a few hours.”

Tickets will be offered to individuals at the Shaw Park ticket office by simply providing identification and a request. Tickets will be available to any of the four games played during the home stand.
