Unless you’re celebrating Canada’s birthday on Friday, stay away from Obsorne Village.
The city will close Osborne Street from River Avenue to McMillan Avenue/Pembina Highway for Canada Day festivities beginning tonight at 6 p.m.
Osborne Street will remain closed all day Friday for the Osborne Village Canada Day Street Festival, and then re-open at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 2.
A number of Winnipeg Transit routes will be affected, including 16, 18, 58, 60, 63, 64, 68, 80 and 81. Temporary re-routes will be in effect until approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday.
