Take Pride Winnipeg! will honour a mural this afternoon with the 2010 Mural of the Year award.
The mural, entitled Polar Bear Splash and painted by Sarah Collard, evokes images of the future polar bear exhibit at Assiniboine Park Zoo.
The mural was chosen for the award by a panel of judges on behalf of TheMuralsofWinnipeg.com.
A formal presentation will be made at the mural site at the St. James Bridge underpass on Wellington Crescent at 12:20 p.m.
