Hundreds of Bomber Tickets Donated to United Way

MTS will donate 100 tickets to every Winnipeg Blue Bombers home game to the United Way of Winnipeg.

All three organizations made the joint announcement Tuesday, saying the tickets will be distributed to the United Way’s youth-serving agencies. The tickets will give youth and their families the opportunity to see a Blue Bombers game, that they wouldn’t normally be able to attend otherwise.

The tickets will be located in the new “MTS Zone” in section A at Canad Inns Stadium.

“These tickets are one more opportunity for United Way and our agency partners to keep kids active and engaged during the critical hours when they are not in school, a time when they might otherwise be exposed to negative influences,” said Scott Sime, vice president of marketing and engagement at United Way.

The Blue Bombers host the Toronto Argonauts Friday night.
