U of M Launches Smartphone App for Students

July 7, 2011 6:44 AM | News

The University of Manitoba has launched a smartphone app for students to check their grades, schedules and navigate themselves on campus.

The UManitoba mobile app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

An in-house team at the university designed the app from scratch, which also includes the ability to search library catalogues, viewing real-time bus departures from campus and helps students find the nearest food venue.

While the app focuses on assisting students, it will also benefit staff, alumni and campus visitors.

Earlier this year, the U of M launched an app for university news.
