The Winnipeg Jets will travel to Penticton, B.C. this fall to play in the Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Tournament.
Running September 11 to 15, the tournament will feature notable NHL prospects from the Jets, Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and San Jose Sharks
The Jets will play their first game of the tournament on September 12 against the San Jose Sharks beginning at 6 p.m. On September 13, the Jets will face the Oilers, followed by the Canucks on September 15.
Game dates, times and opponents subject to change, according to True North Sports and Entertainment.
On Thursday, the Jets announced the signing of forward Jason Gregoire. The 22-year-old Winnipeg native played the last three seasons for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux where he has collected 109 points (57g, 52a) and 46 penalty minutes in 120 games played.
