A three-car crash in East St. Paul Thursday afternoon killed a Winnipeg man and left two others injured.

RCMP were called to the intersection of Highway 59 and Wenzel Street just before 2 p.m.

Police say a Ford pickup truck heading eastbound on Wenzel turning north on to Highway 59 collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Venture, along with a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. The pickup rolled at least once, sending the 55-year-old Winnipeg driver to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The 51-year-old woman driver of the Venture was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the 24-year-old man driving the Cavalier was treated on scene for minor injuries.

There were no passengers in any of the three vehicles involved.

Police are continuing to investigate.
