Winnipeggers will have a convenient destination to head to this winter after WestJet announced direct service from Winnipeg to Palm Springs on Wednesday.
The direct seasonal service will run twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays beginning December 15, 2011 to April 26, 2012.
Fares start at $219 and are part of the airline’s four other non-stop flights planned for this winter. Other direct destinations from Canadian airports include Phoenix, Las Vegas, Cancun and Montego Bay.
