After a record year for team registrations, the Super-Spike volleyball tournament last weekend has also set a fundraising record.

Organizers said Wednesday $115,000 was raised over a two-day period in support of the National Women’s Volleyball Team.

More than 600 games of volleyball were played during the event at Maple Grove Rugby Park, with ten different bands and various DJ’s performing at what has become one of Manitoba’s premiere summertime festival weekends.
