The Winnipeg Jets have hired Pascal Vincent as assistant coach of the new NHL franchise.
The 39-year-old was head coach with the Montreal Juniors and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for the past 12 seasons in the QMJHL.
Vincent’s work with the Juniors earned the team the second best record in the QMJHL at 46-12-10.
Vincent was also the general manager of both of his teams.
On the ice, Vincent played centre for four seasons with the St. Jean Beavers, St. Jean Lynx, Laval Titan, and Verdun College-Francais.
