Charges are pending after a two-vehicle collision in the RM of Roland on Tuesday.

According to police, a Ford F-150 pickup truck was southbound on Road 20 West when it collided with a westbound 1998 GMC truck towing a trailer on Road 29 North.

Both drivers attempted to avoid the collision, but ended up in the southwest ditch of the uncontrolled gravel intersection. The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m.

The drivers of both vehicles — a 61- and 41-year-old man — were examined for injuries at the scene, along with their passengers, a 60-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy. Three adults were taken to Carman hospital for further examination.

RCMP are continuing to investigate.
