Kendra, a 12-year-old Amur tiger, gave birth to at least two cubs at Assiniboine Park Zoo on Thursday night.
It may take zoo staff a while to be able to get close enough to determine the gender of the cubs, but a zoo spokesperson says everyone is doing well.
The Assiniboine Park Conservancy says they will keep the public up to date on any new developments surrounding the cubs.
